FAQ's
Will I bump into other dogs?
By having a 15 minute turnaround time, we have tried our best to ensure that dogs won't cross paths. However, please note that sometimes we can't always control this. Please always be respectful of the 15 minute turnover and leave your slot on time to ensure the safety of all dogs. Please note, the land owners may be around their woodland with their dog from time to time, but will never enter the paddock during your session.

How do we find you?
Once your slot is booked, you will receive details on how to find us. As the paddock is in the middle of woodland, we do not have an official address. We advice using What3Words (resorting.scouts.tech) to find us. The closest postcode to the paddock is DN20 0BQ. (Please note, this postcode will take you to the chicken farm next door. This is why we advise using What3Words).

Do you have parking?
Yes, we have an area for parking inside our main gate. Please use the Dropbox link that will be sent to you within your confirmation email to view the photographic directions and instructions for finding us and parking.

I haven't received a booking confirmation?
Please check your junk mail immediately for confirmation. This will include your directions and gate codes. If it still isn't there, please contact us ASAP. Do not attempt to contact us when you have arrived at the paddock without the codes as we are not always available to answer the phone, and you will risk losing your booked slot.

Will there be other dogs in the paddock during my session?
No. Your booking is private to you. Once you have booked your slot, you will be the only one attending the paddock during your session. HOWEVER, please be aware that occasionally, the land owner may walk his dogs through the woods and past the paddock. There may also be the odd dog walkers and cyclists who come down the farm track adjacent to the paddock fencing.

Is the paddock secure?
Our paddock has 6-7ft fencing the whole way around, however, please bear in mind that due to the uneven, woodland ground, there may be areas of the fence that doesn't sit flush to the ground. If you have a small dog who likes to dig, please bear this is mind and make use of the longlines provided.

What facilities do you have?
Paddock in the Pines provides parking, a poo bin & eco friendly bags, water & bowls (please note, there is no running water so it is advised to take your own in case our water containers are running low), longline (please use this for small dogs who may be able to dig under the fencing). Please ensure all dog waste is collected from the track and placed in the poo bin available inside the paddock or, take it home with you. Anyone who leaves dog waste on the private track will not be allowed to return. Remember, dogs should be on-lead at all times until inside the paddock.

Can I cancel my booking for a refund?
No, unfortunately we cannot issue refunds. However, we can reschedule your slot but ONLY if we receive at least 24 hours notice. If you are worried about the weather, it is your responsibility to check the forecast the day before your slot.

Is there access for pushchairs and wheelchairs?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the land and the soft, muddy tracks, the ground is not suitable for pushchairs, bikes, scooters and wheelchairs.
